KRM22 is pleased to announce the addition of an Exchange Data News Service to its Global Risk Platform. Our new service will allow risk professionals access to analyse and discern same day financial news triggers and information from over 75 different exchanges across the globe.

Leveraging analytics derived from partner data sources such as LexisNexis®, KRM22 users will be able to discern trends from public company announcements and corporate actions across the globe. Additional information and content will also be available in the Global Risk Platform for general research, to drive existing and new risk functions for market abuse, surveillance and alerting for P&L and margin calculations on corporate actions.

KRM22 News Service provides a comprehensive set of news sources to allow our customers to compare against their trading activities, as an abnormal amount of trading activity on an issue prior to a publicly announced event could be evidence of insider trading or other nefarious activities.

One of the main challenges of using any news service, is integration with market surveillance applications. Therefore, at KRM22 we have made it easier for our customers to integrate our news service fully with the KRM22 Market Surveillance solution.

Additional Information about our News Service has been distributed to our customers via email prior to this article. If you are interested in hearing more about this service, please get in touch with Daniel Langley (Danl@krm22.com) or Stephen Casner (Stephen@krm.com).
